– Most basic form of welding
– Suitable for DIYer / home handyman
– Used for manufacturing, repairs and construction
– This type of welding is more suited to join heavier or thicker metals

GAS / OXY ACETYLENE WELDING & CUTTING

– Involves mixing oxygen and acetylene gas to create a flame capable of melting steel
– More commonly used for maintenance and cutting metal
